Maze Adventure: learn through an example

Open Maze Adventure, check the instructions and begin a round. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Practice beyond the first move

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Notice the feedback after each input.

What you need to achieve

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. The example below illustrates a decision.

How to proceed

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

How to interact with the game

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. Use the control method described here for this activity. Check any mode label before starting.

An example to follow

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Read the matching step again.

Check this before moving on

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
